Melodies of the Great Steppe - stained glass

This composition is drawn from a fragment of the monumental stained-glass installation “Melodies of Time” (1983–1984), created for the Winter Garden of the House of Scientists at the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.

Designed to diffuse soft, ambient light, the original work created a contemplative and inspiring space — blending art, nature, and architecture. This silk adaptation captures that same sense of warmth, harmony and quiet reflection.
